Welcome to Impression! This page contains our Terms of Service. By accessing or using our mobile app or services, you're agreeing to all of this (yes, even the fine print). If not, sadly, you’ll have to skip the fun and not use the app. 😢

We might update these terms from time to time. If we do, continuing to use Impression means you're on board with those changes too.

1. Who Can Use Impression

• You must be 18 years or older.
• You promise you’re legally allowed to agree to these terms and use the app in your country or region.

2. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Only upload content (photos, prompts) you have the rights to.
• Use the app respectfully and for its intended purpose: dating profile feedback.
• Keep your login credentials private.
• Be honest in your profile (no catfishing, please).

You agree NOT to:

• Post anything offensive, explicit, violent, or discriminatory.
• Upload images of minors or copyrighted material you don’t own.
• Submit spam, advertisements, or malicious code.
• Misuse the token system or artificially manipulate ratings.

3. Your Content and Our License

You retain ownership of your photos and text. But by using the app, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Display your profile to others for review.
• Use anonymized content to train our AI and improve the service.

We don’t sell your profile or personal data.

4. Token System

• Tokens are earned by reviewing others.
• Tokens are spent to get feedback on your own profile.
• Tokens have no cash value, are non-refundable, and may expire after a year.
• We may change how tokens work at any time to keep things fair and balanced.

5. AI and Feedback Tools

We use automated tools (like AI scoring) to give you insights about your profile. These are for informational purposes only and aren’t guaranteed to boost your dating life. Use your judgment.

6. Content Moderation

We can remove content that violates our guidelines or is reported by users.

Examples of prohibited content:

• Harassment or hate speech
• Obscene or sexually explicit material
• Commercial spam
• Photos without people
• Fake identities or impersonation

We reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts that break the rules.

7. Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may retain profile info for up to 30 days in case you want to come back.

We can terminate accounts without notice for violating these terms, breaking the law, or jeopardizing the platform or its users.

8. Intellectual Property

Everything else in the app (branding, icons, designs, etc.) is owned by Impression. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute any part of the app without our permission.

9. No Business or Legal Advice

Using Impression may make your dating profile better—but it’s not professional advice. Any decisions you make (dating, social, or business) are your own responsibility.

10. Links and Third Parties

We may link to third-party services (like payment processors or analytics). They're responsible for their own policies and security. Check their terms before using.

11. Limitation of Liability

We provide Impression “as is” without warranties. We’re not liable for:

• Losses from using or misusing the app
• Bad advice from reviewers
• Downtime, bugs, or content you don’t like

12. Indemnity

If your use of the app causes legal trouble for us (e.g. copyright infringement or harassment claims), you agree to cover the costs, including legal fees.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. You agree that any legal disputes will be handled in courts located in California.
